You should share it.
It doesn't matter if your update looks horrible, your update is a valued part of the creation process and deserves every right to be proudly showcased out there for the world to see. At WIPUP, we believe that this in-between is just as important and breathtakingly awesome as the finished product iself - it's the hidden spectacular adventure behind the creation. Anything from a brainwave of an idea to a tiny nudge of a pixel - we want you to use WIPUP to suit your workflow.

some finer details around the fuselage and cowls, and modelling the undercarriage and guns, then texturing to come.

Nice model, but perhaps you are focusing too much on the shape and skipping the details - eg: the individual plates that build up the wing, or the multiple parts that build up the engines.
By the way, when you have made progress on this, don't edit your existing update, just create a new one. Then people can see the progress over time. Use projects to categorise your works in progress.
Thanks for the feedback- the Whirlwind was actually a very
"clean" aircraft, there is a sheet of armour just in front of the windshield, that can be modelled, and also some ribbing in the top of the fuel tank covers on the wing, other than that- not a lot of detail there to be modelled. Subtle stuff, like panel lines I will try to simulate with the textures. I will post some photos this evening to illustrate.
Textures are always a good fallback on panel lines, but perhaps some of the deeper panels you should actually model in, little details like nut, bolts, and little sockets can really add to the model.
